幸福的家庭都是相似的，不幸的家庭各有各的不幸，这句话用在个人身上同样适用，我想。

先是心仪的女孩在我面前和我款款深情的谈论她的远在北京的男朋友和正在为他织的围巾，女孩很善良，很专一，我也断然不愿去做抢别人女朋友的卑劣勾当（尽管有兄弟说，没结婚之前大家都是公平竞争），只好把精力发泄到单词上（我是英语专业），临睡前长叹一声，大丈夫何患无妻！然后沉沉睡去。

再就是，我的手被冻了。

生活在北方20多年除了耳朵小时候冻过，我还没有过冻手的经历，没想到在成都的第二个冬天，本以为身体已经适应了南方的“寒冬”，手被冻了......

多希望有人捧起我的手，呵一口暖暖的空气，柔声问到：“疼么？”，可每当我自己这么想时，连我自己都确定我在发白日梦......
于是只好自己抬起手，大口大口的呵气，心里恨恨道：我的肺活量大我怕谁！

于是我迎风大笑，双眼模糊......

                                                 The Phenomenon of Super Girl
Today, 'super Girl' is not only an entertainment but also a cultural phenomenon which attracts much social attention.

Some people criticize it seriously with sharp speeches. Most of them are famous scholars and professors, they hold the opinion like this-Super Girl is a spiritual poison to young adults and people who are still adolescents.

Why they said so?

Because they thought 'Super Girl' only brought something bad to the young, for instance, the lust of money, the daydream of being a super star only with a good voice and a remarkable appearance but not reliable professional performing skills and knowledge like Chendaoming(陈道明) and so on. And it also drives the young far away from traditional Chinese life style and the attitude to personal success- never become conceited and complacent.

On the other hand, there are so many people, especially the socalled 'after 80th generation'- people who were born after the year 1980-are so strongly supporting this new cultural product.

These people, including me, closely attach to the western culture, especially American culture by Hollywood  movies and cartoons on TV, and information on Internet.

The developments of this generation accompanied by China's opening to the world. From the beginning of the' Opening', eastern and western cultures collided with each other in China and the influence made by it seriously affected these people until now and will continue.

As a result, some of us are attracted by western way of thinking and behaving, they chase western value of life. They want to show off their talents and skills to the public, they are thirsty for others' admiration to meet their needs of glory.

It's not a bad thing to show their enthusiasm and young people should be active and sometimes a little crazy is better. I must say that some of them pay too much attention to Super Girl and influence their daily life. They are losing themselves in the big cultural collision.

So what should be an appropriate attitude to Super Girl?

Be responsible to say, Super Girl is not a product of Chinese traditional culture and not completely a western one as well. It's a mixture of the two. In my opinion, we should pay more attention to our history, art, philosophy and so on. Super Girl is only a relaxation.

If the young generation isn't interested in the culture and history of their own country, where is the hope of our country?

I always wonder if there is true love existing in our society. Of course the love between parents and children is true and I never doubt about this.
But what I mean is the love between man and woman.
In my opinion, all love between man and woman firstly base on the mutural social status and the economic basis.
I don't think there is a woman who is eager to marry a begger or a man seems never to be successful in his whole life.
But I must admit that there are so many happy and warm families in the world, if there is no love between the family members, the happiness will not appear.
Yet what I want to say is that love at first is a kind of chemical action between the young man and woman relating to the biological substances and so on.
The true love only emerge after the marriage.
After you suffered the hard time and enjoyed the sweet moment with your partner, the young couple maybe understand the word 'love' in a more mature and sensible way.
Love is not simple stimulation but support to your lover when he or she is in a hard situation and the mutual appreciation of each other in the common daily life.
So young people, please don't say ' I love you '  too easily from your mouth, think it seriously and find the most proper person who is really worthy of you to walk for the whole life.

A city has already existed for thousands of years, but seems without history.
A city which is located in the interior of China, the capital of a relatively poor province, but one of the most fashionable cities in China.
A city with the people who are always at leisure.
A city which is always cloudy......  

I've been in Chengdu for more than one year. Maybe a person can't understand a huge city completely in one-year time, but it's possible to relate to a part; maybe he can't mix himself with the culture of this city, but he could live with it without conflict at least.

The most impressive phenomenon Chengdu gives me is that there are so mang restaurants. Believe it or not, sometimes in some streets there are always restaurants and without any other shops. The most famous dish in Chengdu, maybe in the whole Sichuan province, is the hot-pot. Its extremely spicy taste gives 100% stimulation to your nerves and it's also the main feature of the hot-pot. In spite of this, I can't find out any other differences in the taste of the hot-pot from the different restaurants.

Maybe someone will feel a little confused about my idea  that Chengdu is a city without history. Of course Chengdu is an ancient city. I just want to say is that Chengdu is a city without a kind of historical sense and a cultural sediment through the thousands years history.
So many ancient buildings have been cancled from the city's blueprint, so many historical marks have been destoried. Instead, a great many skyscrapers have been built in the city, but are not as tall as the New York's and not as modern as the Frankfurt's.
Maybe this is a little use to attract the investment from the foreigners'  by flashy appearance of the city, but the officials of the government certainly do not know this: the modern skyscrapers are easy to build, yet the ancient captial can't be cultivated once again!
We can't say that Chengdu doesn't have anciet sites, we have  Wuhou Temple,Dufu Park and so on.
Yes, we have, but all local people know that they are almost rebulit by modern techniques.
The Ancient Street of Jinli is built completely by modern materials but in all ancient styles......
Is it meaningful?
My Chinese teacher once told me that no local resident will go and visit such kind of places of interest. Cheating people who are from other places, especially from abroad, is the only of them maybe......
It's true but the sad truth......
I don't want to say any more about the city I have to stay at least four years.You can come and feel Chengdu by your yourself.
If you want to search leisure and pleasure, come here, the slow pace of life is waiting for you, the colorful night life is ready for you.
But for culture and ancient monuments, please go to the Europe.Their attitudes are more mature than us to protect the history!
